Inside Our Home Update

We are pleased with how fast things are going inside . Most of the plastering is done. They have put up the mouldings and installed all the cabinets in the kitchen, laundry and bathrooms.

Our kitchen cupboard colours are lemon tree for the top and the bottom cupbooards are south west jarrah. The wrap you see around the front is called cappucino. They will not put the Quantum Quartz benchtop in until later and we have chosen the colour ice for that.

The bathroom cabinets are chocolate pear on top(which is a dark brown but it looks whiteish as it is covered in white dust from their sanding) and the cupboards are straight grain wedge. The double vanity basins are in the ensuite.

The laundry cupboards are vicenza walnut and the formica top is ameretto stone which is also covered in white dust like everything else.

Lockup Complete

We are very pleased with the progress so far. We are so glad we decided on the french doors. We have them off the Rumpus room, Dining Room and Lounge. They are to be stained Antique Cherry along with the laundry door and our front door which they will put in at the finish. We have a temporary front door at the moment.

Inside they have put the insulation in the walls and all the plumbing, electrics and the heating unit and ducting for that are done as well. They have started to put up some of the gib boards and the bath frame is completed.

Next week they should be giving the bricks a special wash which will clean them up.

We are getting the roof flashings and downpipes painted Glacier Grey at some stage as well.

Roof Finished

Our roof is finished and a lot of the brickwork has been done. We should be looking at lock up in the next two weeks.
